Walking on a windy winter day, air blowing sound, car passing sound, footsteps sound.

Shaking a small glass bottle with oregano in it. The first half is shaking it with the lid on, the middle is shaking it into a plastic bowl, and the last part is shaking it into an empty ceramic bowl. Recorded with my lumix g7 camera with rode video micro attached to it.

This calm field-recording was made in päijät-häme finland on a warm june's day with birds and insects of many sort. Quintessential finnish summer background or atmo. Neumann tlm107tascam dr100 mkiii.

This is a field recording taken in a suburban location in the city of cincinnati just over ten minutes in length. Gear: zoom h6, xyh-6 x/y capsule (120 degree stereo image), rycote windjammer, mounted on a tripod. Please feel free to leave feedback and ratings. This recording, unlike my previous insect recordings, was taken in an actual forrest on south mountain reservation, millburn nj (as opposed to my backyard). There is a distant airplane in the background (south mountain is near newark airport) but otherwise its much cleaner than my previous recordings, pretty much isolating the patch of crickets. ---two primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1.

All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges. Most of this recording is of insects in a special field of native wildflowers at a dog-park on south mountain reservation in new jersey. Near the beginning of the recording, you can hear, in the distance, a dog at the dog park yelping in pain very loudly, perhaps after receiving a bite from another dog. Walking through crunchy ice covered snow on a very cold day. I pant in the cold. The snow is not too thick, just a couple inches but it crunches like gravel. It was really cold.
